Preventive Care in Type 2 Diabetes: Results of a Randomized, Controlled Trial in Community Pharmacies Diabetes Care

GLICEMIA 2.0 trial (26 pharmacies; n=198, Germany) found that use of community pharmacies in dealing with intensive diabetes care resulted in a significant reduction of HbA1c within 1 study year in comparison with the control group (0.7%; p=0.0001).
