Psoriasis Flares Following Systemic Glucocorticoid Exposure in Patients With a History of Psoriasis
Dermatologists are taught to avoid systemic steroids (SSs) in psoriasis patients due to disease flare risk, but in this cohort study (n=1970),the rates and severity of flare are very low, suggesting SSs may be much less likely to trigger severe flares than traditionally taught.
