Public satisfaction with the NHS and social care in 2019: Results from the British Social Attitudes survey

Public satisfaction with the NHS overall was 60%, a 7% absolute increase from the previous year. The main reasons given for satisfaction included quality of care (68%), and that it is free (60%); the main reason given for dissatisfaction was staff shortages (62%).
