Study (n=1,103) found resistant hypertension (RH) was associated with increased risk of diabetic neuropathy progression (hazard ratio 1.95 [95% CI 1.37, 2.79], p = 0.0002), incident CHD, incident stroke, and all-cause mortality compared with controlled blood pressure.
