Revised SPC: Genvoya (emtricitabine, elvitegravir, cobicistat and tenofovir) 150mg/150mg/200mg/10mg film-coated tablets

SPC updated to include data on possible interactions between Genvoya and polyvalent cations and thienopyridines. The interaction with polyvalent cations may lead to lower plasma concentrations of elvitegravir due to local complexation in the gastrointestinal tract.

SPS commentary:

It is recommended to separate Genvoya and administration of antacids, medicinal products or oral supplements containing polyvalent cations by at least 4 hours.

Co-administration of Genvoya with clopidogrel is not recommended.
