Rhythm control for patients with atrial fibrillation complicated with heart failure in the contemporary era of catheter ablation: a stratified pooled analysis of randomized data

Analysis of 11 studies (n=3598) found catheter ablation rhythm control linked to significantly lower all-cause mortality, reduced re-hospitalisation rate, similar rate of stroke events, greater improvement in LVEF & QoL and lower arrhythmia recurrence vs. medical therapy.
