Risk factors and prognosis for COVID-19-induced acute kidney injury: a meta-analysis
Review of 79 articles (n=46,692) found acute kidney injury (AKI) was a common and serious complication of COVID-19. Older age and severe COVID-19 were risk factors for AKI. The risk of in-hospital death was significantly increased in patients with COVID-19 complicated by AKI.
