Risk of acute kidney injury by initiation of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in hospitalised patients treated with diuretics and renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system inhibitors

Retrospective single centre study (n=151) found 3.3% of patients treated with both diuretics and renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system inhibitors in whom NSAIDs were initiated developed acute kidney injury (average increase 49 µmol/L serum creatinine).
