Risk of early neurodevelopmental outcomes associated with prenatal exposure to the antiepileptic drugs most commonly used during pregnancy: a French nationwide population-based cohort study

Study (n=9,034) found no increased risk (IR) with levetiracetam, pregabalin, oxcarbazepine, topiramate, gabapentin, clonazepam or carbamazepine, vs lamotrigine. Valproate had an IR of neurodevelopmental and pervasive disorders, mental retardation and speech therapy visits.
