Risk of Ischemic Stroke in Patients With Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vs Patients With Influenza

This retrospective cohort study found 1.6% of 1916 patients with Covid-19 treated at one of two New York hospitals from March-May 2020 had an acute ischaemic stroke v 0.2% of 1486 with influenza treated Jan 2016-May 2018 (adjusted OR 7.6; 95% CI 2.3-25.2).
