Role of beta blockers following percutaneous coronary intervention for acute coronary syndrome

Registry study (n= 17,562 patients, 83.3% on betablockers [BB]) reported reduced mortality in the BB group vs controls (13.1% vs 19.5%, p=0.0001) and found BBs were associated with lower overall mortality (adjusted HR 0.87; 95% CI 0.78 to 0.97; p=0.014).
