Royal Pharmaceutical Society warns of huge extra cost to NHS after withdrawal of bipolar drug Priadel (lithium carbonate)

The RPS has said it is deeply concerned after the manufacturer announced plans to discontinue production of branded product Priadel 200mg and 400mg in April 2021due to restrictions on permitted pricing, which it considered made the product no longer financially viable.
