Sex differences in prevalence, treatment and control of cardiovascular risk factors in England

Health Survey 2012–17 data (n= 49 415; 51% women) found comparable treatment and control of hypertension and diabetes in both sexes in 2017. However, women less likely to have treated and controlled dyslipidaemia (21 vs 28% for treatment vs 15 vs 24% for control for women vs men)
