Study shows eating prunes daily improves risk factors for heart disease and inflammation in postmenopausal women
In this RCT (n=48) published in the Journal of Medicinal Food, researchers found that eating 50g of prunes (~5-6 prunes) per day for 6 months resulted in improved CVD risk biomarkers – including raising HDL and lowering the ratio of total cholesterol to HDL.
