Sulfonylurea antidiabetics are associated with lower risk of out‐of‐hospital cardiac arrest: Real‐world data from a population‐based study
Dutch study (219 Out‐of‐hospital cardiac arrest [OHCA] cases vs 697 non‐OHCA controls with diabetes) found sulfonylurea drugs were associated with reduced OHCA risk, with lower risk reported with gliclazide, but not glibenclamide, vs glimepiride.
