Supporting doctors throughout the second COVID-19 wave – CAS Alert from the Chief Medical Officer

This letter to healthcare professionals and institutions recommends a rational and organisational approach if needing to depart from established procedures in order to care for patients in the highly challenging circumstances of an epidemic.

It refers clinicians and organisations to two documents from the General Medical Council to support decision making in these highly challenging times:
