The association between hormonal contraceptive use and glaucoma in women of reproductive age
Study (n= 4 871 504) demonstrated elevated risk, of glaucoma in females of reproductive age who use regular hormonal contraception compared to non-users with 2366 cases of glaucoma vs 9464 in controls, with an adjusted incident rate ratio of 1.57 (95% CI: 1.29–1.92).
