The effect of green Mediterranean diet on cardiometabolic risk; a randomised controlled trial
RCT (n=294) reports diet +physical activity, supplemented with walnuts, green tea & Wolffia globosa (Mankai strain; newly developed duckweed) and less meat/poultry, may amplify beneficial cardiometabolic effects of diet; based on BMI, 10 yr Framingham risk score & other outcomes.
