The Effect of Preconception-Initiated Low-Dose Aspirin on Human Chorionic Gonadotropin–Detected Pregnancy, Pregnancy Loss, and Live Birth: Per Protocol Analysis of a Randomized Trial
Per protocol review of RCT (n=1,227) was performed owing to significant non-adherence to treatment. It found preconception use of low dose aspirin lead to 6 fewer pregnancy losses (CI -12 to -0.20) per 100 pregnancies vs placebo (original study found no significant difference).
