The pre‐ and post‐authorisation data published by the European medicines agency on the use of biologics during pregnancy and lactation

This comparison of publicly available pre- and post-authorisation data for 16 biologics concludes that in general ‘inadequate efforts’ are made to provide data on pregnancy and lactation, so clinicians have to make decisions without supporting data, even years following approval
