The “virtual wards” supporting patients with covid-19 in the community

This feature article discusses a number of projects involving the use of “virtual wards” whereby patients with Covid-19 are managed at home, monitoring their own oxygen levels if necessary. Due to their success, the trusts involved hope to continue the system after the pandemic.
