Therapy Escalation Following an Elevated HbA1c in Adults Aged 45 Years and Older Living With Diabetes in Australia: A Real-world Observational Analysis

Study (24,430 individuals with diabetes between 2006 and 2014) found that escalation of therapy was more likely to occur in those with a higher HbA1c, those on monotherapy, multiple recent visits to the GP, and patient self-reported anxiety.
