Total Body Irradiation or Chemotherapy Conditioning in Childhood ALL: A Multinational, Randomized, Noninferiority Phase III Study

This study (n=417) was stopped prematurely as chemoconditioning was inferior to total body irradiation (TBI) for overall survival. The authors recommend TBI plus etoposide for patients >4 years with high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukaemia undergoing allogeneic HSCT.
