Trends in Antihypertensive Medication Use Among Individuals With a History of Stroke and Hypertension, 2005 to 2016

Study reports between 2005 and 2016, 37% of an estimated 6.4 million adults in US with a history of stroke had uncontrolled blood pressure, despite 80% of them taking antihypertensive medication; demonstrating a missed opportunity nationally for secondary stroke prevention.
