Trends in polypharmacy and potentially inappropriate medication (PIM) in older and middle‐aged people treated for diabetes
This database analysis found prevalence of polypharmacy in people with diabetes aged ≥45 years increased in all age groups in the study period (2012-2016). The prevalence of potentially inappropriate medication decreased in those aged ≥65 years but increased in 45-65 year olds.
