Upper respiratory viral load in asymptomatic individuals and mildly symptomatic patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection
This study in South Korea (n=213) found 19% of patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection were asymptomatic, and their viral loads were comparable to those seen in symptomatic patients. 54% of asymptomatic and 64% mildly symptomatic remained positive when retested after 13 days.
