US FDA advisory panel backs approval of Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine

The committee voted 20-0 that the benefits of Modena’s Covid-19 vaccine outweigh the risks in people aged 18 years and older. It is reported that the FDA has decided to approve the vaccine on an emergency basis, and that the approval will be granted in the coming days.
