US FDA approves Zynrelef (bupivacaine and meloxicam) for management of postoperative pain for up to 72 hours

The extended-release local anaesthetic has been approved for use in adults for soft tissue or periarticular installation to produce postsurgical analgesia for up to 72 hours after a bunionectomy, open inguinal herniorrhaphy, and total knee arthroplasty.
