Zegalogue (dasiglucagon) approved for severe hypoglycaemia in people with diabetes in the US
The FDA approval is supported by efficacy data from three phase III studies in children aged six to 17 and in adults with type 1 diabetes where the time to plasma glucose recovery was 10 mins vs 30-45 mins for placebo.
